Dear Parents,

We would very much like to welcome you and your child to our Nursery. The next intake is after the Easter break, although if your child turned three prior to September they are eligible to start immediately. Please contact the school office if this is the case. This page gives information on what to expect, plus helpful ideas on how to prepare your child for starting school.

If you have any queries please contact the school office on 0208 390 9544 or email to

Miss Martin-Jimenez is our Nursery Teacher. She is very much looking forward to meeting your child and starting them off on their school journey.

To help children settle into Nursery, we have made a short welcome video in which we tell you a little bit about Nursery and Ms Hawker, our Headteacher, introduces you to our lovely school. Please click on the below link:

Nursery visits

Due to the situation with COVID-19, we are unfortunately unable to show you round or do home visits at this time. Instead, prior to your child starting, the class teacher would do a telephone meeting for all new children. This will provide an opportunity for the teacher to introduce themselves to the children and for parents to ask questions.

The school uses ParentPay for all communication and payments and we would like to encourage all new parents to sign up. The registration document is sent out together with details of your child's start date.

In Nursery we use Tapestry to record your child’s learning. This system allows the teacher to record photos and pieces of work done by your child. Parents can sign up to view their child’s learning and you will be given details of how to do so when your child starts.

School milk

Your child is entitled to free school milk until they turn five, after which it can be paid for. To register please go to the Cool Milk website at Any hard copies of the form should be sent in the post directly to Coolmilk.

Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)

EYPP provides extra funding for 3 and 4 year old children:

a. whose parents are in receipt of certain benefits or
b. who have been in care or adopted from care

Prior to starting parents will need to complete the last page of our admissions form as well as on the parent funding authorisation form (link below) so that the school can claim funding.

All new starters must complete the online school admissions form prior to starting by clicking on the following link:
