Updated 2020 Relationship and Sex Education Policy

Lime Tree Primary is a sustainable school at the centre of an inclusive community, where all members are reflective, life-long learners who have a healthy body, brain and heart.
Underpinning this vision is a way of working that is active, collaborative, learning centred and learner driven. This is underpinned by the values we promote: Kindness, Craftsmanship, Enjoyment, Excellence, Creativity, Teamwork, Resilience, Honesty, Effort, Respect and Responsibility.

In line with government/DfE guidance, we will be implementing the new relationship based, Relationships and Sex Education learning from September. We have shaped our policy within the national curriculum and would now like to consult with you. This will give you the opportunity to look closely at the policy including the content for each year group and ask questions, before we start the programme of learning in the Spring term. The Draft Relationships and Sex Education Policy along with details about 'Laughology' can be found below and we encourage you to read these before answering the survey here.
